Tasty Omelette – Y2 Instructions

September 23rd, 2010 Posted by Mr M. Waller

This week year two have been writing instructions about how to make a tasty omelette inspired by recipes created by Jamie Oliver and Martha Stewart.

Following instructions to make a tasty omelette

You will need:
3 eggs, sunflower oil, frying pan, salt, pepper, bowl, whisk, spatula and a plate.

1. Firstly heat the sunflower oil in the frying pan.

2. Then crack the three eggs into the mixing bowl and whisk quickly
(Make sure you don’t whisk too hard or bubbles will appear inside the mixture)

3. After that pour the whisked eggs into the smoking pan.

4. Next scrape and move the egg around the pan so that the egg is cooked quickly.

5.  Then when the egg starts to set season it with salt and pepper.

6. Finally serve the omelette on a plate and enjoy.

Note: Make sure that you don’t overcook the omelette. Take the pan off the heat before the egg has fully set.

The bold words in this piece of writing are super time connectives.
